Affordable Housing Awards

The ACT Government supports initiatives such as Industry Awards to encourage excellence in affordable dwelling construction and design and to further the overall objectives of the Affordable Housing Action Plan.

Building Information Centre

The Building Information Centre offers a showcase of more than 140 displays of the latest building products and services.  Free advisory services and open days are also available to provide information and ideas for building your home.

Home Ideas Centre

Address: 28 Collie Street, Fyshwick.

The Centre features over 1500 square metres of displays for consumers wanting to find out the latest in kitchens, bathrooms, home theatre installations, green design, and building and renovation.

Open 7 days: Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm, Saturday from 10am to 4pm, and Sunday from 11am to 4pm.
